Terms of Use (EULA)
We provide mobile applications (the "Apps"), including Ajedrez (also distributed as Ajedrez Learn Chess), for download on worldwide app stores. We offer both free versions of our Apps, which may contain advertisements, and paid versions or subscriptions, which typically do not contain advertisements and may include additional features. By accessing or using our Apps, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (EULA). If you do not accept these Terms, do not use the App.
Use of Apps
Permitted Use: You agree to use the App only for purposes permitted by these Terms of Service and any applicable laws or regulations. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the App complies with all local laws and regulations.
Data Processing: By using the App, you consent to our collection and processing of data as outlined in our Privacy Policy.
Updates & Changes: The App may communicate periodically to check for updates such as bug fixes, patches, or new features. We may modify or discontinue the App or specific features at any time.
Prohibited Activities: You may not use the App for any harmful, disruptive, or unlawful activities, nor attempt to reverse engineer or circumvent application protections.
Auto-Renewable Subscriptions & Purchases
Subscription Options: We offer auto-renewable subscription plans, including Super Weekly, Super Monthly, and Super Annual (collectively referred to as "Super"). The specific features, benefits, and pricing of each plan are explicitly displayed on the in-app purchase screen and on the App Store product page prior to purchase.
Payment & Auto-Renewal: Payment will be charged to your Apple ID / iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew for the same price and duration period unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing cycle.
Renewal Charges: Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, identifying the cost of renewal.
Managing & Canceling Subscriptions: You can manage your subscriptions and turn off auto-renewal at any time by going to your Apple ID Account Settings on your device after purchase (Settings → your name / Apple Account → Subscriptions). You may also manage subscriptions through Apple Support at https://support.apple.com/HT202039. If you cancel, you will retain access to subscription benefits until the end of the current billing period already paid for.
Free Trials & Restoring Purchases: Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when purchasing a subscription, where applicable. You can restore your purchases on authorized iOS devices using the same Apple ID by selecting "Restore Purchases" in the App.
Refunds: All purchases and refund requests are handled directly by Apple under its standard App Store policies (https://reportaproblem.apple.com).
Apple Standard EULA
The license granted to you for the App is subject to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Apple Standard EULA) and the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. Amnis Developers, and not Apple, is solely responsible for the App, its content, and customer support.
Intellectual Property Rights
Ownership: All content within the App, including text, graphics, images, audio, video, trademarks, and software, is the property of Amnis Developers or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.
Limited License: We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the App for personal use on compatible Apple iOS devices that you own or control.
Third-Party Services
The App may integrate third-party services, such as Apple Game Center for leaderboards, analytics tools (e.g., PostHog), and advertising networks in the free version. Your use of third-party features is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.
No Warranties & Limitation of Liability
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, neither Amnis Developers nor Apple shall be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
Applicable Law & Changes
These Terms are governed by the laws of your country of residence or Spain and the European Union, as applicable. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes become effective upon posting.
